Weekly Reports

Each week, Who We Trust documents qualifying arrests and new criminal charges against individuals in positions of public trust. Sentencings, convictions, guilty pleas, arraignments, and other case developments are tracked separately and do not count toward weekly arrest and new-charge totals.

HOW WEEKLY TOTALS ARE COUNTED

Weekly totals count only qualifying arrests and new criminal charges documented during that reporting period. Classification is based on the NLA Event Type column in the source data — a NULL event type indicates a qualifying new charge or arrest. Sentencings, convictions, guilty pleas, arraignments, and other non-qualifying events are tracked separately under Case Developments and do not count toward the verified weekly total. Notes text is editorial context only and does not affect qualification status.

Sentencings, convictions, guilty pleas, and arraignments are searchable in the full Case Tracker. Each week's section above also includes a Case Developments tab showing that period's updates separately from qualifying arrests and new charges.
